Special Interests

Christie has a particular interest in early intervention and loves working with children who have delayed language development. She also supports babies through to school-aged children who stutter or experience speech sound delays. Christie is passionate about creating fun, play-based therapy sessions and empowering parents to confidently use communication strategies at home and throughout their busy daily lives. She is trained in Sounds Write and Talk for Writing, allowing her to support school-aged children with language and literacy difficulties.

Why babies and children?

I love working with babies and children because therapy can make such a meaningful difference early in life - not just for the child, but for their parents and families too. Being part of those special moments when a child starts reaching their goals is something I truly value. Celebrating clients’ communication wins, watching their confidence grow, and having lots of fun along the way makes this work incredibly rewarding.

Non work life

Outside of work, Christie is a busy mum to two toddlers and embraces the happy chaos of everyday family life. She loves cooking and renovating and enjoys spending time in the backyard, at the park, or searching for great food and coffee.
