Why babies and children?

I love watchingĀ babiesĀ and youngĀ childrenĀ learn, and truly admire their curiosity, enthusiasm and resilience. They are so determined to explore and understand the world around them, and I love supporting them to do that. I feel so privileged thatĀ I spend my work days building connections through play to help little ones communicate and build meaningful relationships with others. I love working collaboratively with parents to find what works for them and their child; every day is unique and I'm always learning from my clients and their families!

Non work life

Kateā€™s own experiences as a mother of two young boys, including a neurodivergent son, means that she has experienced therapy from the ā€˜other sideā€™ (as a parent) and truly understands the importance of family-centred care. Kate believesĀ in fostering communication through connection and is a strong advocate of play-based learning to ensure that children can develop functional communication skills through meaningful experiences and interactions with others.
