How is the Playgroup structured?

  • This playgroup is for 2 and 3 year olds (you don't have to be a current client of the Walky Talky Hub)
  • The primary focus of the group is to support your child's language skills, but will also offer activities to support fine and gross motor skills too.
  • What to Expect:

    • Dynamic Activities: Our playgroup kicks off with an exciting obstacle course led by our Physiotherapist, Alison. During this time, Kate will discuss the week’s speech strategy with parents.
    • Interactive Stations: Your child will engage in fine motor activities where we’ll weave in language-building strategies.
    • Fun and Learning: We’ll wrap up with circle time, featuring books and songs to reinforce language development in a joyful setting.

This playgroup is a wonderful opportunity if you’re on a waiting list for Speech Therapy or looking to complement existing individual sessions. It’s designed to give you practical tools and strategies to support your child’s growth in a supportive group environment.
