It is normal for children to feel worried or shy, but sometimes these worries stop them from enjoying school, getting to sleep, or engaging in play. At Walky Talky, we help children understand their internal world and give them the tools to navigate anxiety with confidence.

What does a session look like?
First, we usually meet with the parents/caregivers for an Initial Consultation without the child. This allows us to speak freely about your concerns and the family history.
Subsequent sessions with your child involve a mix of play-based assessment to understand their world. Psychoeducation (for both you and your child) on how the brain and the stress response. Learning to navigate big feelings using child-friendly regulation strategies, âthought-detectionâ activities, and structured bravery ladders designed to build confidence at their own pace.
